The Lipscombe Family
who previously owned Happy Valley up until 2008, run the independent Bee Keeping business 'Bee Enterprises'. Bringing 5 generations of Bee Keeping knowledge and expertise to the business. Bee Enterprises are one of Happy Valley's key suppliers of bulk honey.

Happy Valley is a family owned, and operated business.
The Harvey Family run Happy Valley bringing sales, marketing and finance skills to assist the business growth, both in its own Happy Valley Brand, and setup the contract packing business unit.
Mark Harvey
CEO
Mark has been involved with Happy Valley since 2008, a qualified accountant with 28 years experience with large multi national companies in senior finance and general manager positions.
His role as the Group Director, no longer sees him working in the business but instead he oversees the Happy Valley Groups future development projects, maintains supplier relationships and ensures we meet our Financial Reporting requirements.
Otherwise you can find him playing golden oldies rugby, touch football, cricket or the occasional golf, being a granddad and building the families holiday home in the Far North.

Lorraine Harvey
Product & Marketing Support
Lorraine has done most jobs around Happy Valley during her time here, including assisting with honey production, retail sales, working on our new branding of Happy Valley and most importantly overseeing our Q&A and Food Manufacturing and RMP compliance. There is no job Lorraine doesn't know how to do at Happy Valley. Before Happy Valley, Lorraine worked in the local area for many years in roles such as a principal’ s PA at Rosehill College & practice administrator for a team of physiotherapists in Drury. Lorraine’s interests are her family, including her three adult daughters, gardening and maintaining their lifestyle property not far from the Happy Valley premises, netball and horses.

Narissa Harvey
Manager- Happy Valley
Narissa, the eldest daughter of Mark and Lorraine has been involved with Happy Valley as a consultant throughout the re-branding and re-design of the brand in 2011, and in 2013 she joined the family and become a permanent member of the team focusing on growing the Happy Valley brand and our export markets as well as product development. Narissa's background in FMCG marketing allows Happy Valley to look to the future and Narissa to apply her knowledge to the family business.
Narissa currently Manages all of Happy Valley honeys operations and is charged with delivering the growth plan and high quality products to all of our customers.
She is currently completing her OMP (Owners and Managers Programme) through the Icehouse which focuses on developing NZ's key business leaders. Narissa was granted an ATEED scholarship and was awarded the IceHouse's annual scholarship to attend.

Alesha Parkes
Accounts and Admin Manager
Alesha joined Happy Valley after the closure of The
Strawberry Shack which
she managed full time- many customers still remember the Strawberry
Shack and the amazing ice-creams and Smoothies (Shh... you heard it here
first we might be bringing it back soon). Since joining Happy Valley
she has taken over Logistics and the Administration along with looking
after customers in the retail shop, and does a pretty fine job at that!
Alesha works through all the documentation needed for Exporting and is
often the voice on the other end of the phone when you call Happy
Valley. Alesha's interest include Eventing her horses most weekends in
summer, playing Netball and water sports throughout summer.

Jason Parkes
Production
Jason has joined Happy Valley to take on the role of Production Manager in our packing facility. Jason has come to us after working as a Sales Rep for an electrical company since high school where he gained skills around systems management, ordering and sales management. Married to Mark & Lorraine's youngest daughter Alesha, Jason jumped at the chance to work with the family business and has embraced the new job, which includes running all aspects of the factory and producing the honey. He has even taken up Bee Keeping to understand more about honey and the industry. Jason's interests include anything out doors, Wakeboarding and diving in summer.
Saskia-Rae Brown
Admin and Logistics Support
Saskia has been involved with Happy Valley since 2014. She
started with Quality Controlling the factory, and has worked her way up from
there. Saskia knows and sees every little detail of the company!
Her role as Admin
and Logistics Support sees her helping within the Production Factory, supplies
export documents and general help anywhere someone needs it.
Otherwise you
can find her indulging in chocolate, playing netball or hitting the gym.
Richard Kee
Production
Richard started with Happy Valley as a part time Production Assistant. Richard now joins us full time due to our increase of production over the years. He helps Jason out with all things honey production related, including packing for our Export orders.
Richard has one son and enjoy all things fitness, and travel. After work and weekends he spends his time freelance coaching athletics. Richard has represented NZ in athletics in the 800m. And when he has spare time he enjoys watching athletics, cricket, rugby, touch.

Alicia Collins
Admin and Retail Assistant
Alicia started with Happy Valley working part-time Saturdays but since has started working most weekdays also.
Her role is Admin and Retail Assistant, she works full time in the Retail store as well as helping with customer enquiries and production.
Alicia’s interests include theatre and screen performing arts or anything that puts her creativity to a challenge!
