Happy Valley Honey has been trading in rural South Auckland for over 30 years and has always been a family owned and operated business with its own hives. The Lipscombe/Thomas family has been owners since 2001 and continues the tradition of producing top quality bee products with as little human influence as possible.
Brian & Christine have a background as beekeepers (since 1984) and are horticulturists. Their children have all grown up surrounded by bees and are accomplished beekeepers themselves. Their sons, Kane and Bevan have their own building business but are ‘on call’ when all hands are needed on deck. Son-in-law Steve manages the beekeepers and works with the hives whilst their daughter Katrina uses her knowledge of bee keeping directly with our customers in our retail outlet.
Our product range is 100% New Zealand and we are members of “Buy NZ Made” and brand partners of the “New Zealand Fern” backed by our promise “Our honeybees. Your Health”. The supply of honey and bee product from their 2000 to 2500 beehives means Happy Valley Honey are in a unique position of knowing the purity of our product from bee to you.
Our range covers New Zealand native forest honeys; Manuka, Rewarewa and Tawari, New Zealand field honeys; Clover, Thistle and Borage and therapeutic honeys and bee products.
Happy Valley Honey (NZ) Ltd is situated at 520 Great South Road, Papakura. With road frontage and lots of parking and next to the always popular Strawberry Shack, our location allows easy access from Auckland's southern motorway. At our premises we have our production plant, our retail outlet, customer service team and our despatch for local customers, nationwide customers and international sales for export and kiwis abroad.
Our premises are operated under an approved RMP program, we hold an A Grade New Zealand Food & Safety license and are licensed to Export adhering to the highest quality standards.
